Ok, well upon first inspection, our soon-t0-be master suite was anything but fancy. Instead it looked like the backdrop for some really bad porn. Teal green walls overpowered the small space and the dated sheers and ceiling fan made me want to check-0ut fast. My design plan revolved around an amazing faux-bois wallpaper I had come across months before and evolved from there. I knew I wanted a linen wingback bed and found this one on Overstock.com. It came in 5 very heavy boxes, that I dragged up a flight of stairs and assembled solo. I flanked the bed with mirrored side tables and lamps from Target, ordered a parsons desk from Amazon.com and found the mirror on clearance @ Steinmart ($83). The nailback chair came from Marshalls clearance section $90)and the cheap wall art was made with old canvas, some fabric and a staple gun. My daughter said "It looks like a fancy hotel" and I have to agree. (Note: my kids are pretty spoiled with regard to hotels, where as high-end for me as a child was a room at places ending in Motor Lodge.)
